Casa Turire is a haven of gracious charm set in the verdant, agricultural region of Turrialba, and it is an ideal base camp for exploring Costa Rica. From Casa Turire, you may easily explore many aspects of Costa Rica: its rich interior, from the Braulio Carrillo to the Irazú Volcano; its many, roaring rapids from the Reventazon to the Pacuare rivers; and its Caribbean coast from exotic Limón to the mystical, submerged Tortuguero Rainforest. Casa Turire possesses twelve rooms and four suites, all of grand prestige. These spacious rooms—with strong, beautiful wood floors, high ceilings, and private balconies—offer spectacular views of the surrounding hills. Each one is uniquely designed with elaborate furniture of locally cultivated wood. The headboards in the rooms are of fine timber, and they compliment perfectly the florally patterned, stucco walls. Each room welcomes you with direct dial telephones, satellite TV, hair dryers, and toiletries in the bathrooms.

The four suites feature spacious sleeping areas, couches, coffee tables, and mini refrigerators. In addition to the customary amenities of the other rooms, the suites also have DVD players and significantly larger balconies.

The master suite of Casa Turire promotes the perfect vacation. The first floor has an exquisitely decorated living room and a magnificent balcony that can accommodate fifteen people for tea in the afternoon or for cocktails in the evening. A spiral staircase rises to the bedroom, which is equipped with air conditioning, a flat screen television, and a beautiful Jacuzzi.

The lake behind our hotel provides numerous activities for our guests. A hydroelectric dam powered by the Reventazón River forms the artificial lake, which is an astounding thirty-seven meters deep. Casa Turire has built a boat dock and offers non-motorized aquatic activities like kayaking and canoeing.

Our gardens are also spectacular. You need only to take a walk through the gardens of Casa Turire to feel closer to nature. Guests frequently observe tropical birds like toucans, orioles, and parakeets, and the pool is a relaxing location from which to survey them.
