Grano de Oro Coffee Tour
Hacienda Real is the name of the estate on which the Grano de Oro Coffee Plantation sits. Here, coffee goes from the branch to the brew on a microscopic scale that allows visitors to become intimately familiar with the process. The small size of the plantation also permits the quality of the coffee to be carefully controlled, resulting in some of the finest-quality beans.
In this tour, you will see the cultivation of the plants, as well as the harvesting, washing, sorting, drying, and roasting of the beans.

The final phase of the tour is the tasting phase. The tour guide will explain the differences in the various qualities of coffee and will allow you to sample them yourself. After that, you will be led into the gift shop, where you may try more coffee, chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, and coffee liqueurs. All of it is, of course, available for purchase.
